Word & Water of Life (Acts 8:17-40)

There is a bit of Holy Spirit conundrum that needs to be clarified. Why did He hesitate to fall on those in Samaria after they believed the gospel and were baptized? Why did Peter admonish Simon the magician and essentially condemn him to hell? How can we look to a foreigner as a greater example of faith than others?

Needless to say, this passage in Acts 8 provides us some tough questions. Yet there are times when hard truth needs to be revealed and addressed.
