This is why He came! (Luke 19:1-10)

Jesus makes His purpose extremely clear...He came to seek and save the lost. He states this through His divine interaction with Zacchaeus, a tax collector and sinner.

When we place our hope in the things of this world (status, job, money, etc.), we only find a bottomless pit that we constantly try and fill. The only hope we have for contentment and fulfillment comes in the very person of Jesus Christ. Yet, we must come to the end of ourselves. God does not accept the arrogant and proud. He invites those who have nothing to offer and desire nothing more than a relationship with Him.
