The Gospel of Mark

Mark 11:12-33

Jesus teaches us an extremely valuable lesson through a fig tree. The tree was cursed because it was giving the impression it had the very thing it’s purposed for, but in fact, did not. Faith in Jesus is deeper than religious title. Our body is a temple and we’re obligated to keep it swept clean of anything that would cause us to lie, deceive, or entrap others into believing we have something we don’t. The value of prayer and forgiveness are keys to a deeper and abiding relationship with Jesus Christ.
