“Truth and Love” (2 John)

Truth and love are inseparable. You can't have one without the other. Yet too often we do so because we get out in front of God and act on our emotions. Our feelings should never dictate our actions. It is our obedience to God in being a perpetual follower of Christ where we find joy. Along with that, keeping in step with Jesus will keep us from being deceived by those who wish to discourage us from our obedience by lies and false teaching.
