“You are worthy to save” (Matthew 8:5-17)

Throughout Jesus' ministry, He brings healing to many people. He uses those circumstances to point to the cross. Jesus did not miraculously heal people simply because He could. He did so to show us a couple things: 1. His authority is God's authority. His words are God's words. 2. Every single individual, regardless of title, culture, social status, or physical well-being is worthy of the salvation He offers. Yet it is up to each individual to humble themselves and draw near to Him.
