The Gospel of Mark

Mark 4:35-41

Jesus called His disciples in to a close relationship. A big part of that was their Teacher-Student relationship. As a former classroom teacher, I can this, what is teaching without a test? We are all called in to the same relationship with Jesus. As a part of our learning, we experience tests and trials that will serve to strengthen our faith, if we focus on our teacher and what He has taught us. The words of Jesus are just as powerful today. But, how will we come to trust in His promises if we don’t seek to understand His word?
