2 peter 1:1-11

The heart of the Apostle Peter's letter to Christians is to grow in the knowledge of God. In that, we can live a peaceful, yet vigilant life against any false teaching that may try to pull us away from the truth of God's Word. In this day and age, we need to mature in our faith. God has given us the power of His nature, and promised us the Holy Spirit. What we do with those is of vital importance! He has given us the keys to the kingdom. It's up to us to play an active role.
