Opposition in Open Doors (Acts 13:1-12)

Paul, Barnabas, and Mark head out on their first missionary journey to bring the gospel to the world. However, they don't set out prior to dedicating time and themselves in ministering to the Lord through prayer and fasting. These two disciplines show dependency on the Lord. So when they hit the mission field, they draw their strength from God, not themselves.

When God opens doors to us for ministry, we most assuredly encounter opposition. This will come in the form of spiritual attack from the enemy. They only way we prepare for this battle is through our dependency on God for wisdom, strength, and His favor according to His will.
