The Gospel of Mark

Mark 15:1-15

The Sanhedrin make their final decision and march Jesus to be tried by Pilate, the Roman Governor. Three times Jesus is questioned by Roman authority, only to be found not guilty. Yet the chief priests and others demand his crucifixion. As was the plan from the beginning of time, Jesus stands accused, punished, and convicted for crimes He didn't commit. Jesus took our place. He became the propitiation for our sins. He willingly sacrifices Himself for our sins. The question we must face, is how are we to respond to our sin?
