“Beauty in the Difficulty” (1 John 2:1-6)

On this Mother's Day, we look at how John writes to "his little children", and provides the encouragement needed to continue in fellowship with the Lord. Mom's play a vital role in being their child's greatest advocate here on earth. Yet the difficulty is seeing our children make mistakes, and in some cases, choose to live a life that is not honoring to the Lord.

While we put so much love, time, and effort into our raising our children, we need to remember the biblical mandate to individual fellowship with Jesus. He is our greater advocate, and because of His love for us, sacrificed Himself so we could receive salvation. Our response is intimate fellowship and obedience to all God calls us to do.
