Don’t let your heart be troubled

For this week's devotion, I'm going to allow the words of another pastor bring you encouragement. In this day and age, there is way more on our plates than we can handle. And that can be an extremely discouraging thing. Or it can be a very encouraging thing. It just depends on how you look at it all. Our worldview is going to determine our outlook on life. If that worldview is based upon the constant barrage of social media, news, government, etc., you will find yourself cynical and/or depressed. There is so much fluctuation on every issue, that it can be confusing what to believe. Yet, if our worldview is established on the King of kings, we will find rest for our soul. We will find peace in our heart. There is no reason to let our heart be troubled, because we know who is sovereign over it all! So allow me to take you to an article/devotion I read on this very thing.

Do not let your heart be troubled, by Dr. Ronnie Floyd

Be blessed and be encouraged. But above it all, may we look to Jesus as the source of everything we need to navigate this hostile world.

God bless you!
