5 minutes in eternity
by Cameron Stevens on September 20th, 2021
Not too many videos do this to me, but this one did. It wrecked me. God forgive me for being timid, insecure, and withdrawn about sharing the Gospel! Let it invade your comfort zone and shake the very foundation upon which you think you stand.  Read More
Do not let your heart be troubled
by Cameron Stevens on August 16th, 2021
In this day and age, there is way more on our plates than we can handle. And that can be an extremely discouraging thing. Or it can be a very encouraging thing. It just depends on how you look at it all.  Read More

It's okay to talk about Christmas in June, right?! Well, in any case...  Read More
Justifiable Slavery
by Cameron Stevens on January 11th, 2021
There is a word that we need to become extremely familiar with if we are a follower of Jesus Christ: Service. This has to be one of my favorite concepts when it's clearly defined as advancing the cause of Christ among men. What an amazing concept to consider, especially for those of us that live in free societies. What do we do with this paradox of being a servant or slave, and yet have been given all the freedom in the world in which to live our life?  Read More
It's just an empty cup
by Cameron Stevens on December 21st, 2020
As I look forward to Christmas with my family, I can honestly say that once again, the Lord has taught me so much this past year! We will celebrate Christmas at our house, by our tree, in our pj's. Of course, my kids will clamor to rip open their presents. However, before the living room is destroyed with wrapping paper and empty bags and boxes, we will pause to read the Christmas story together as a family.   Read More
Greater Joy
by Cameron Stevens on September 28th, 2020
After picking up my daughter from school, I needed to run to the grocery store for a couple dinner items. Upon checking out, my 12 year old looks at our cashier and says, "I just want to tell you that you are a beautiful person." It was one of those moments that made me well up with pride and joy. I welcome these moments, especially when they come from my pre-teen who, well, is a pre-teen...nuff said. Or other moments, like when my other daughter decides to pack more food in her lunch because a friend at school often comes to school with very little to eat. Or when my son desires to pray before our meals. These are the moments when I can see God's Word come to life when it says, "I have no greater joy than to hear that my children are walking in the truth." (3 John 1:4)  Read More
The Light Inside
by Cameron Stevens on September 7th, 2020
Everyone has sung the old children’s song 'This Little Light of Mine' in church before. It’s a cute rendition to explain that we are to let our light shine for Jesus. As St. Francis of Assisi is credited with saying, “Preach the gospel to all the world, and if necessary, use words.” It’s a great challenge for us all to live our faith and present the actions and love of Jesus to the world around us. However, what we’re talking about here is not so much the light that you let shine, but the light that is within you.   Read More
In My Time Of Need
by Cameron Stevens on August 24th, 2020
In the book of Psalms, David passionately declares that “God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.” (Psalm 46:1). I can honestly say that there have not been too many times in my life where I felt as if I was in distress, unsure of where my life was headed. This verse and so many others provided me the comfort needed when a part of this world seemed to crash down around me.   Read More
